NAFARI, established since 2002, is an autonomous, not for profit sharing organization, registered under Section 25 of the Companies: Act 1956. The institute has an ISO/ IEC 17025 and NABL accredited laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with 'State of the Art Facilities' for Chemical and Microbiological Analyses.
NAFARI is emerging as a prominent Incubation Centre in the Food Sector for new product, process and service development. NAFARI along with MCCIA has global and domestic tie-ups with Forli Cessena, Italy; Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, Canada; Veneto Agricoltura, Italy; Apex Cluster Development Services Pvt.Ltd., India; KIN, Germany; CFTRI, India for technical and commercial knowhow in Food Processing Technology. NAFARI has created strong backward linkages of R&D with Institutions, Consultants and Suppliers to provide various services in Food Analysis, Consultancy and trainings by understanding Industry needs and catering to them appropriately.

National Agriculture & Food Analysis & Research Institute (NAFARI) endeavors to apply the state of art analytical techniques and testing methods of international standards and requirements in chemical and biological testing of food and food products.
